Richard Mayhew honored by Brandywine in Phila., PA

Sharing news about one of my favorite artists sent to me from Allan Edmonds at the Brandywine Workshop in Philadelphia. Richard Mayhew will be Brandywine honoree October 11, 2008 in Philly as he receives the Brandywine Achievement Award for Visual Artists.

Edmonds is giving a talk and presenting Brandywine prints at the  Alitash Kebede Gallery in Los Angeles Wednesday May 14th from 7-9 PM (phone 323.549.003) and the Thelma Harris Art Gallery in Oakland, Sunday May 18th from 3-5 PM (phone 510.654.0443).

Please share the news. If you are in the L.A. area please take the opportunity to meet a living legend this May and visit two important galleries; mark your calendar for the Oct. awards in Phila. Mayhew is fabulous and full of knowledge he doesn't mind sharing.
